🥩 Ingredients:

  • 2 filet mignon steaks (tender beef cuts)

  • 6 large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1/2 lobster tail (optional for a deluxe touch)

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup chicken or beef broth

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • Pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper

  • Juice of half a lemon

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  • Grilled asparagus (optional, for serving)


👩‍🍳 Preparation:

  1. Prepare the steak:

    • Season the filet mignon with salt and pepper.

    • Heat a skillet over high heat with olive oil, then sear the steaks on both sides until they reach your preferred doneness (medium or well-done).

    • Add a knob of butter with a garlic clove and let it melt over the steak for a rich flavor.

  2. Cook the shrimp and lobster:

    • In the same skillet, add butter and sauté the shrimp with a pinch of salt and pepper until pink and golden.

    • For the lobster, top with a bit of garlic butter and roast in the oven for a few minutes.

  3. Make the creamy sauce:

    • In the same pan, melt butter and sauté the minced garlic.

    • Pour in the broth and let it simmer for a minute.

    • Add heavy cream and Dijon mustard, stirring until the sauce thickens.

    • Season with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.

  4. Serving:

    • Place the filet mignon on a plate and spoon the creamy sauce over it.

    • Arrange the shrimp and lobster on the side.

    • Garnish with grilled asparagus and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
